Jason Smith*, Director of Laboratory Services


 Jason started with Sleepcare Diagnostics as a sleep technician in September, 2001. He has been a member of the Association of Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). Jason has excelled quickly in the company previously holding the positions of Polysomnographic Technician, Scoring Technician, Lead Technologist, Lab Supervisor, and Center Manager. Dr. Malik, Training Director

Dr. Athar Malik has been with the company since 1997. He previously worked as a research associate in the department of pathology at University of Cincinnati. Dr. Malik is a registered Polysomnographic technologist (RSPGT). He is responsible for training new technical and non-technical staff regarding sleep and its disorder, diagnostic technique and patient care according to their needs. Sleepcare Diagnostics conducts educational activities in the center for continuing medical education of the technical staff to maintain good quality of patient care and the studies. Since Dr. Malik's implementation of the education and training program, 13 of the Polysomnographic  technologist have successfully passed the Polysomnographic  test and are registered Polysomnographic technologists.
