Dr. Athar Malik has been with the company since 1997. He previously worked as a research associate in the department of pathology at University of Cincinnati. Dr. Malik is a registered Polysomnographic technologist (RSPGT). He is responsible for training new technical and non-technical staff regarding sleep and its disorder, diagnostic technique and patient care according to their needs. Sleepcare Diagnostics conducts educational activities in the center for continuing medical education of the technical staff to maintain good quality of patient care and the studies. Since Dr. Malik's implementation of the education and training program, 13 of the Polysomnographic  technologist have successfully passed the Polysomnographic  test and are registered Polysomnographic technologists. (Sleepcare Diagnostics is the only center in the country to have such a high number of registered technicians on staff).
