Dr. Malik, Training Director

 Dr. Athar Malik has been with the company since 1997. He previously worked as a research associate in the department of pathology at University of Cincinnati. Dr. Malik is a registered Polysomnographic technologist (RSPGT). He is responsible for training new technical and non-technical staff regarding sleep and its disorder, diagnostic technique and patient care according to their needs. Sleepcare Diagnostics conducts educational activities in the center for continuing medical education of the technical staff to maintain good quality of patient care and the studies.
Since Dr. Malik's implementation of the education and training program, 19 of the Polysomnographic technologist have successfully passed the Polysomnographic test and are registered Polysomnographic technologists. (Sleepcare Diagnostics is the only center in the country to have such a high number of registered technicians on staff). Steven P Markle, Accountant
   Steve joined Sleepcare in September 2005, as an accountant. Before joining Sleepcare, Steve worked in the manufacturing industry, primarily in the areas of machining, heat treating and materials processing. Steve is a 1993 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with degrees in Computer Science and Accounting. He performs the general accounting, human resources and payroll duties for all Sleepcare locations. Steve is from the Cincinnati area, specifically Montgomery, and now resides in Monroe. Kenneth Byrd, Director of IT

 Ken joined Sleepcare Diagnostics in 2004. As Director of IT Ken utilizes his 12 years of IT experience keeping our office running smoothly from back office servers to lab computers. Ken attended University of Cincinnati and holds several IT certifications. He has achieved the highest levels of GH1 and GH2 and is hoping to complete the GHIII in early 2008.
