Making
an Appointment is Easy
One of the many reasons we are so
successful is our ability to schedule the patient for a
physician consultation within one week of receiving the referral
and for a sleep study within one week following the
consultation. Consequently, we can get a report back to you in a
short period of time. While other labs have backlogs of up to
three months and unacceptable turn-around times, Sleepcare
Diagnostics is a seven-day operation and our physician can see
patients evenings and weekends.
- Patients are scheduled within one week for a consultation
and within one week for a sleep study and treatment
- We offer Saturday and evening consultations
- Sleep studies can be scheduled any day of the week, including
Saturdays and Sundays
- Home or laboratory sleep studies are available when permitted
by the patient's insurance company
- All major insurance networks and Medicare / Medicaid are
accepted

Billing/Insurance Information
Sleepcare Diagnostics is in-network for virtually all major insurance
companies including Medicare/Medicaid. Almost every insurance company
covers testing and treatment for sleep disorders. However, there
can be some restrictions. The staff at Sleepcare Diagnostics will
check your benefits upfront and will be able to give you a good
idea of any portion you may be responsible for paying.
We will work directly with your insurance company to submit any
pre-certification or referral information that is required.
Insurance Coverage for In-home Studies
Sleepcare Diagnostics can conduct sleep studies in the home for
patients who have difficulty coming to our facility. If you are
in need of this service, providing this type of testing would be
appropriate to diagnose your sleep disorder, let us know and we
can help you find out if your insurance company will cover this
service. Please note that Medicare and Medicaid specifically exclude
home sleep studies.
Payment
Our Billing Department will submit claims directly to your insurance
provider, and we do not bill above your insurance company’s
allowable amounts. Occasionally we will ask for a patient’s
assistance in contacting the insurance provider if we do not receive
payment.
If you are required by your insurance provider to pay for a portion
of expenses, you will be billed for the patient responsibility
balance owed after we receive payment from your insurance company.
Self-pay patients: If you do not have insurance, or if your insurance
provider does not cover these services, please call to discuss
our special discounted self-pay prices. We will let you know how
much you need to pay at the time of service and discuss a payment
plan for the balance.
If you have dual coverage, we will also file a claim for service
with your secondary insurance.
Medicare
Sleepcare Diagnostics will not bill above the Medicare/Medicaid
allowable amount for these services. If you are a Medicare patient,
Sleepcare Diagnostics will submit your claims directly to Medicare
for you.
After Medicare pays its portion, we will bill your supplemental
insurance directly for the remaining balance, including Medicare
deductibles and co-payment amounts. If you do not have supplemental
insurance, you will be responsible for paying the uncovered amount.
